Hello y Hola Dragons!

I am so excited to get to start my first year as a school counselor at the place that started it all! As a William Monroe High School alum, I am thrilled to get to work in the community that raised me and get to give back to the place that is the foundation of my professional career. Working with students and their families in creating a collaborative relationship, strengthening mental health, and academic/postsecondary planning is what I am most passionate about. Change can be hard, and having a community or support system to turn to is a resource that one might resonate with most. My hope is that I will be a resource you turn towards.

I have lived in Greene County, Virginia for almost my whole life. I currently live on a horse farm with my partner in Orange County alongside our 3 dogs Nyla, Freya, and Yara and cat Nihilus. We are constantly running around taking care of all the animals, showing horses, or just hanging out on our front porch. During my free time I love to snowboard (Vermont is our favorite place at the moment), travel (in or out of the county), go hiking, paint, and spend time with my family.
