I am beginning my 11th year in my position of assistant principal at William Monroe High School - I love my job here, as well as the students and the community that I work with.  I was previously a math teacher at Spotswood High School in Rockingham County, where I was for 17 years as well as teaching two years in Warren County and four in Harford County, Maryland.

I am originally from the Baltimore area but moved to the valley 29 years ago.  I love the area and currently live in Harrisonburg with my husband, oldest son and my four dogs.  We love to travel, watch movies, go to theater productions, and listen to live music.  I also love to hike and moved to the area to be able to spend time in Shenandoah National Park.
